The Foundation awarded $1682 to Eganville & District Senior Citizens’ Needs Association's project 'Celebrating 150 Years of Volunteers'.

Volunteers have played a vital role in creating the Canada we know and love today. This project honours community volunteers, past and present. A granite bench will be placed in the Eganville Town Centre. It will be dedicated to all volunteers and a commemorative plaque will describe the importance of volunteers to the development of Canada. The bench will carry the Canada 150 logo and the EDSA logo and the date. Bonnechere Valley Township will donate the space and maintain the bench.
