Comments from the 100+ Women Committee:

The Foundation awarded $2600 Phoenix Centre for Children & Families Elevate Youth for their project- Celebrates Fitness & Culture.

In collaboration with The Salvation Army Youth Centre and Algonquins of Pikwakanagan, and  Phoenix Centre, Elevate will take the lead on organizing culturally sensitive and educational  events to empower youth to lead physically active, healthy and confident lives. Local youth will benefit from organized physical activities, healthy cooking opportunities, and a culminating presentation at Pembroke Waterfront’s 150 Celebration on July 1st.

**The 2016 Campaign was made possible by the Community Fund for Canada’s 150th, a collaboration between the PPDCF- 100 Women, the Government of Canada, and extraordinary leaders from coast to coast.
