With 100+ Women PPDC's support we can help our organization to grow and develop the community by providing young mothers tools, skills and the confidence they need to explore the topics of equity, diversity and inclusion with their children. By empowering young moms' with confidence to discuss hard topics, we will build a future of knowledgeable, kind and accepting young people of the next generation. While young children are avid observers and questioners of their world, adults often shut down or postpone conversations on complicated topics because it's hard to know where to begin. Research shows that talking about issues like race and gender from the age of two not only helps children understand what they see.

Comments from the 100+ Women Committee:
The Foundation awarded $1000 to Columbus House (Pembroke) Inc. Young Parent Support Program- for their Equity, Diversity and Inclusion through literacy program! With their grant, we hope to help them provide young mothers with children’s books from diverse cultural backgrounds and lessons for young mothers aiming to give them the tools, skills and confidence they need to talk to their children about inclusion.
